After being cleared of potential crimes against cuisine at RDU Airport on Friday, Bryan Hanks and his better half (who has asked not to be identified) landed in Seattle on Saturday.

While Hanks’ traveling companion visited family, the man who would be DUDE decided to have an authentic Seattle adventure. A longtime Starbucks fan, Hanks visited their corporate at 2401 Utah Avenue.

“It was awesome!” Hanks said of his trip to the mecca of overpriced bean juice. “The tour of their operation was very informative. What’s even better is that they gave us all coupons to pass out at the many homeless encampments in and around Seattle. And these coupons aren’t the usual $1 off that you see in circulars. Each of these coupons is for $15 off a cup of Starbucks coffee, which is a savings of nearly 50 percent!”

Two out of two Tax Deductions recommend Blizzard Building Supply, located at 405 Walston Avenue, Kinston.

Seattle also has a rich musical heritage, including the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Heart, and a cluster of 90s grunge bands such as Screaming Trees, Nirvana, and Pearl Jam. With this in mind, Hanks paid a visit to the Seattle Museum of Pop Culture.

“The museum was quite interesting,” Hanks said. “There was an exhibit detailing how Seattle musicians consumed 90% of the heroin sold in the United States from 1988 through 2002. Then we were able to flip through Eddie Veddar’s childhood record collection, which contained a surprising number of Wham! albums. In the Hall of Infirmity, we learned that Courtney Love singlehandedly caused Pfizer to build an entire plant dedicated to the production of Zithromax.”

From Seattle Hanks heads to Alaska where he is scheduled to join Sarah Palin as a celebrity judge on “Top Chef: Moose Mousse”.
